RM Contracting has been built on over 10 years of experience. We provide services to domestic and commercial clients ranging from garden and grounds maintenance to complete remodelling. At RM Contracting we pride ourselves on working closely with our clients to produce, manage and maintain outdoor spaces that reflect our customers wants, needs and visions.

Our usual operating area is shown here, this encompasses Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Wiltshire and parts of South Wales. However, this area is not exclusive so we are happy to consider work further afield.
A Taste of Our Work
A taste of Japan…
This Japanese inspired garden started life as a bare patch of grass. It’s now an idyllic zen garden complete with running water.
Getting a hold of it…
One of our regular garden maintenance customers was worried about accessing her garden. We installed this hand rail for extra piece of mind.
Rebuilding the past…
A returning customer of our asked us to rebuild these retaining walls around his boundary. We managed to match the original stone laid traditionally as dry stone and topped with lime mortar ready for the cock and hen.
Laying the foundations…
We installed this concrete base and brickwork for another company to fit a timber greenhouse and cold-frames onto, a mm perfect job despite the lovely british weather!
Simply stunning…
A regular customer of ours. This formal lake receives monthly maintenance to keep it looking crystal clear.
A well deserved break…
This formal pond needed a deep clean after nearly 15 years - this is the outcome after removing nearly 1ft of silt.
You’ve ‘urn’ed it…
This water feature created a sensory ambience in this small courtyard garden, rejuvenating the overall look and feel of the area.
Wiping the slate clean…
This customer was tired of looking at his dilapidated old shed. We installed this concrete base and re-landscaped the surrounding area with slate slabs ready for his new summer house - bringing this garden back to life.
‘Pond’ering…
For this one the task was simple - create a wildlife pond in this small area of unused ground using elements of traditional materials to mirror the surrounding landscape.
Going round in circles…
One of our paved circle kits incorporated into this garden re-landscape helped create a natural flow between newly formed planting beds and a small, secluded seating area.
A cut above…
Another regular of ours. Routine hedge cutting keeps our customers gardens looking perfect inside and out.
Getting to the root of it…
This wildlife pond was looking overgrown and in dire need of some serious TLC. we cut and split the rushes which had taken over this wildlife haven removing the root-mass and increasing the surface area of the water again, tidying the remaining plants as we went.
‘Reign’ing it in…
A customer of ours was tired of her horse breaking the plastic stakes in her field, so we installed this more permanent fixture.
Going with the flow…
A large site we completed for a customer with a difficult gradient to their garden, we installed this watercourse and fall bringing new life to a previously unusable bank. Completely transforming the whole landscape.
Undercover…
This oak framed carport and block paved floor was the ideal solution to help keep one of our customers classic cars away from the elements.
On a roll…
One of our regular grass cutting contracts. Thanks to our roller mowers our lawns always look their best complete with quintessential British stripes.
Under‘lining’ the issue…
We were tasked with finding the leak on this 20yr old rendered pond after further inspecting (and a good clean), we advised the customer a full reline would be the only viable option. Re-building the edges and relaying some of the crazy paved patio.
